Advantage Training and Consultancy, owned by Allan Johnston, is founded upon many years experience of delivering health and social care training and for the last ten years providing health and social care research and consulting. This includes short and longer term training events on substance misuse and therapeutic interventions to organisations ranging from large local authorities throughout the United Kingdom to small third sector agencies.
Allan has over 35 years experience working within the Health and Social Care sector both in practice, but also in developing and delivering learning and development solutions. Allan is both a professionally qualified manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Our team also have vast experience of working in and providing research solutions within health and social care. All of our products can be delivered remotely on whatever platform the commissioning organisation requires. Since March 2020 this has been our standard method of delivery both in research and training delivery. We are also committed to providing face to face training in a safe and secure manner whenever that is required and our team has experience of delivering training in Co-vid secure environments.

Our team has experience of delivering on research projects and organisational reviews during the periods of lockdown from March 2020 and have acquired significant experience in conducting focus groups, strategy meetings and one to one interviews remotely using online platforms.
